Outdoor and security lighting
Outdoor lighting makes your home safer and more welcoming. We install porch lights, up-and-down wall lights, garden and path lighting, and PIR or dusk-to-dawn security lights. Outdoor fittings need the right IP rating and cable, and circuits must be RCD protected. We also fit and wire video doorbells and security cameras.
Bathroom lighting
Bathrooms are split into zones around the bath and shower, and each zone needs lights with a suitable IP rating. We'll make sure your new lights, extractor fan and shaver socket are in the right places and correctly protected.
Commercial lighting

Planning your lighting installation in Leicestershire
The best time to plan lighting is before plastering, when cables can be run anywhere. If you're renovating, we can wire new lighting as part of a rewire. How much does lighting installation in Leicestershire cost?
It depends on the number and type of fittings, access in the ceiling and whether new circuits are needed. Simple fitting swaps are quick, while a full kitchen scheme takes longer. We give a fixed quote after seeing the job.
Can you fit lights I have bought myself?
Yes, as long as they are suitable for the location and carry a UK or CE safety mark. We will check the IP rating and fixing requirements before fitting.
Do LED downlights need to be fire rated?
Where a downlight goes through a ceiling that acts as a fire barrier, such as between floors of a house, a fire-rated fitting keeps that protection in place. We will tell you where they are required.
Can you install outside lights on a timer or sensor?
Yes. We fit PIR motion sensors, dusk-to-dawn photocells and timers, and can connect lighting to smart controls so you can switch it from your phone.
